Robin, the boy wonder, is one of the most popular comic book characters of all time. He was first featured in 1940 alongside the original batman to bring in younger readers. Since that time his popularity has grown more and more. The most notable appreances by Robin has been in the comics and on the TV show Batman & Robin!
Robin is best known for his sidekick roll alongside Batman infact some reviews state he is one of the greatest sidekicks of all time. The fact that he's a sidekick doesn't make him any less popular than Batman though. In fact, most people associate Batman with Robin and Robin with Batman. Together the are the Capped Crusaders or the Dynamic Duo.
